The 2026 World Series matchup market is down to two live pairings: Guardians vs Brewers and Rays vs Brewers. Milwaukee clinched the National League pennant on October 15 with a four-game NLCS sweep of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and Kalshi settled both Dodgers pairings No at 11:35 p.m. ET that night. Of the 225 AL-vs-NL combinations Kalshi listed for this year's World Series, 223 have now settled No, and about 4.1M contracts have traded across the event. The last open question is the ALCS, where Cleveland leads Tampa Bay 2-1.
As of the morning of October 16, Kalshi prices Guardians vs Brewers at about 63% and Rays vs Brewers at about 38%. With Milwaukee's half settled, each contract is now a straight bet on the ALCS: the two prices sit within a point of the 2026 AL pennant odds for Cleveland and Tampa Bay. Kalshi is the only venue on this board, so there is no cross-platform spread to compare.
The order has flipped twice this month. At the October 11 close, before either League Championship Series began, the engine's daily history had Rays vs Dodgers as the top pairing at 39%, Rays vs Brewers at 25%, Guardians vs Dodgers at 23% and Guardians vs Brewers last at 15%. Milwaukee's 3-0 NLCS lead and Cleveland's Game 3 win reversed that: by the October 15 close, Guardians vs Brewers was at 60%, Rays vs Brewers at 33%, and the two Dodgers pairings at 7% and 4%. The Brewers' Game 4 win that night sent both Dodgers contracts to zero.
Milwaukee swept Los Angeles 2-1, 7-4, 6-2 and 6-4 between October 11 and 15, coming back from a 4-0 deficit in the clincher at Dodger Stadium. First baseman Jake Bauers was named NLCS MVP after driving in six runs. The Brewers finished the regular season 103-59 with a +214 run differential, the best marks in baseball, and the record gives them home field for the World Series: Games 1 and 2 are scheduled at American Family Field on October 23 and 24. The 2026 NL pennant result page covers the series and how both venues settled it.
Cleveland won Game 1 of the ALCS 7-3 at Tropicana Field, Tampa Bay won Game 2 by 3-1, and the Guardians took Game 3 by 3-2 at Progressive Field on October 15 behind nine strikeouts from Gavin Williams and a two-run homer from Petey Halpin. Games 4 and 5 are scheduled in Cleveland on October 16 and 17, and Games 6 and 7, if needed, return to Tropicana Field on October 19 and 20.
Tampa Bay went 98-64 with a +86 run differential and swept the New York Yankees in the Division Series. Cleveland won the AL Central at 85-77 with a +11 run differential, then came back from two games down to beat the Chicago White Sox in five. In a Guardians vs Brewers World Series, Milwaukee would carry 18 more regular-season wins than its opponent.
Each contract names one American League team and one National League team, and only one can pay out. Now that Milwaukee is in, the next ALCS game reprices both remaining contracts in opposite directions: a Cleveland win on October 16 lifts Guardians vs Brewers and lowers Rays vs Brewers by roughly the same amount.
Volume tells the story of the season's expectations. Rays vs Brewers has traded about 460K contracts and Rays vs Dodgers, which settled No, about 444K. Yankees vs Dodgers, a pairing that settled No when Tampa Bay swept New York, traded about 322K, while Guardians vs Brewers, now the favorite, has traded about 176K. Kalshi reports volume in contracts, each of which pays $1 if its pairing is confirmed.
Under Kalshi's rules, a pairing resolves Yes as soon as both teams officially qualify for the World Series, not when the first pitch is thrown. The remaining pairing resolves Yes the moment the ALCS ends, which is no earlier than Game 5 on October 17 and no later than Game 7 on October 20. The other contract resolves No at the same time. MLB's schedule has World Series Game 1 in Milwaukee on October 23.
Once the matchup is set, the action moves to the 2026 World Series winner market. The Milwaukee Brewers hub, Cleveland Guardians hub and Tampa Bay Rays hub carry each club's other markets, and daily postseason game lines live on the MLB prediction markets hub.
Each contract names one American League team and one National League team and resolves Yes if those two teams are confirmed as the 2026 World Series matchup. Under Kalshi's rules, resolution occurs immediately when both teams officially qualify by winning their League Championship Series, not when the World Series is played. Every other pairing resolves No. Milwaukee clinched the National League pennant on October 15, 2026, and Kalshi settled both Dodgers pairings No at 11:35 p.m. ET that night, leaving Guardians vs Brewers and Rays vs Brewers as the only open contracts; 223 of the 225 listed pairings have settled No. The ALCS ends no later than October 20, 2026, and Kalshi's latest expiration is November 1, 2026. Each contract pays $1 per share if Yes. Kalshi is the only venue on this board.
As of October 16, 2026, Kalshi prices Guardians vs Brewers at about 63% and Rays vs Brewers at about 38%. Both Dodgers pairings settled No after Milwaukee won the NLCS on October 15.
The remaining pairing resolves Yes as soon as the ALCS ends, no earlier than October 17 and no later than October 20, 2026. World Series Game 1 is scheduled for October 23 in Milwaukee.
Kalshi lists it under the KXTEAMSINWS-26 event with 225 pairings, two of which are still open. About 4.1M contracts have traded, and Kalshi reports volume in contracts.
Guardians vs Brewers is the favorite at about 63% on Kalshi because Cleveland leads Tampa Bay 2-1 in the ALCS. Milwaukee is already in after sweeping the Dodgers 4-0.
Watch ALCS Game 4 in Cleveland on October 16. A Guardians win leaves Cleveland one win from a Guardians vs Brewers World Series, while a Rays win ties the series 2-2 with Games 6 and 7 in Tampa Bay.
