The Indianapolis Colts were 8-2 in November and finished 8-9. Kalshi's season win ladder is priced off the second number, and the ninth rung is where that shows.
The board puts 9 or more wins at 45c and sums to an implied 8.6 wins, almost exactly the record Indianapolis posted. That record was two teams: a ten-game stretch that outscored opponents by 115 points, and a seven-game collapse whose final four games came without Daniel Jones. The ladder pays full price for the second one. Prices below are from September 1, 2026.
Colts Win Total 2026 Odds: What the 17-Rung Kalshi Ladder Says
Kalshi is the only exchange running an Indianapolis season win market, so this number has no second book checking it. Lifetime volume is $37.1K across 17 rungs, every contract written as at least that many wins. The last 24 hours moved about $398, nearly all of it between the seventh and tenth rungs.
| Rung | Kalshi |
| 6 or more wins | 87c |
| 7 or more wins | 73c |
| 8 or more wins | 59c |
| 9 or more wins | 45c |
| 10 or more wins | 38c |
| 11 or more wins | 25c |
| 12 or more wins | 18c |
Subtract each rung from the one above it and the board implies 14% for exactly eight wins, 7% for nine and 13% for ten. Ten wins is priced as nearly twice as likely as nine. Nobody builds a win distribution with a hole punched in the middle.
The Colts Win Total Ladder Prices a Record Two Different Teams Produced
Indianapolis opened 8-2 through Week 10. At the November 6 trade deadline the Colts were 7-2 and tied for the best record in the NFL, which is why they sent two first-round picks and receiver Adonai Mitchell to the Jets for cornerback Sauce Gardner. Then they lost seven straight and finished 8-9, first team out of the AFC field.
Split the season at the Week 11 bye and the halves barely look related. Through ten games: 321 points scored, 206 allowed, a plus-115 differential. Over the last seven: 145 scored, and the same 206 allowed. Five of those seven losses were one-score games, including 23-20 at Kansas City and 20-16 to Houston before Jones was hurt.
For the full year Indianapolis scored 466 points, eighth in the NFL, and allowed 412, 21st. That plus-54 differential is a 9.7-win profile by Pythagorean expectation. The Colts banked eight.
Why the Colts Win Total Case Starts With Daniel Jones and an Achilles
Jones played 13 games in 2025 and Indianapolis went 8-5 in them, outscoring opponents 376-285. He completed 68.0% for 3,101 yards at 8.1 yards per attempt with 19 touchdowns, 8 interceptions and a 100.2 rating, plus five rushing touchdowns on 45 carries. He tore his right Achilles on December 7, 2025 in the Week 14 loss at Jacksonville.
The Colts paid him anyway: a two-year, $88M extension in March 2026. Jones opened training camp July 29 as a full participant and says he absolutely expects to start the September 13 opener against Baltimore. Shane Steichen describes him as on track or slightly ahead of it.
The supporting cast survived where it counts. Jonathan Taylor carried 323 times for 1,585 yards with 18 rushing touchdowns. Rookie tight end Tyler Warren caught 76 passes for 817 yards, and Alec Pierce turned 47 catches into 1,003 yards. The subtraction is Michael Pittman Jr., traded to Pittsburgh for roughly $24M in cap relief and replaced by Keenan Allen on a one-year deal worth up to $8.32M.
What the Colts Win Total Market Gets Right About the Secondary
The 412 points allowed came from one place. Indianapolis surrendered 262.5 passing yards per game in 2025, 31st in the league. The run defense was the opposite: 101.9 rushing yards allowed per game, seventh, at 3.9 a carry, second. The hole was one-dimensional, and the front office spent two first-round picks trying to plug it.
It is not plugged yet. Gardner played 36% of the defensive snaps across the eight games after the trade while nursing a calf injury. Charvarius Ward, signed for three years and $54M, took three concussions in his first Colts season and was shut down, then missed two weeks of camp with a back problem. The two have played exactly one full game together, so skepticism is fair until they are on the field in the same September.
The pass rush is thinner. Laiatu Latu doubled his sack total from 4 to 8.5, but Kwity Paye and Samson Ebukam left in free agency and the replacement plan is Arden Key plus a second-year jump from Jaylahn Tuimoloau, the 45th pick in 2025.
The 2026 Schedule Behind the Colts Win Total: Nine Road Games, Four Division Tests
The 17 opponents went a combined 134-154-1 last season, a .464 win rate, and ten games come against teams that finished under .500. That is the friendly half.
The unfriendly half is geography. Indianapolis plays nine road games after going 2-6 away from Lucas Oil last year against 6-3 at home, and four dates against Houston (12-5) and Jacksonville (13-4). The Colts went 2-4 in the AFC South. The opening five reads worse on a poster than in a spreadsheet: Baltimore, at Kansas City, Houston, at Washington, at Pittsburgh went 41-44 combined.
Colts Win Total Rungs Worth Owning: 9 or More at 45c
The buy is 9 or more wins at 45c.
The first reason is the differential. A plus-54 margin is a 9.7-win profile, and eight wins understated it by nearly two games. The pieces that produced it are back: the quarterback is healthy and extended, the 1,585-yard back returns, and both corners are expected to be available for the opener.
The second is the shape of the ladder. 10 or more sits at 38c, so 7c separates it from the ninth rung. That 7c is the market's entire price on exactly nine wins, against 14c for eight and 13c for ten. Nine wins is the most ordinary outcome on this board and it is quoted as the least likely in the range. That is a stale-quote gap, not a considered opinion.
The fade is the top. 12 or more at 18c asks for a four-win improvement from a team with nine road games and a quarterback nine months removed from Achilles surgery. Buy the ninth win. Do not chase the twelfth.
When the Colts Win Total 2026 Market Resolves
Every rung settles on Indianapolis's official 2026 regular season win total, and each contract reads as at least that many wins, so the ninth rung pays on nine wins or more. The season opens September 13, 2026 against Baltimore and the 17th game is January 10, 2027 against Jacksonville. The board carries a January 18, 2027 resolution date, and the NFL's final standings are the source of truth.
Catalysts That Move the Colts Win Total Before Week 1
- Daniel Jones taking a live hit:** He has not been tackled in a game since December 7, 2025. Baltimore is the first read on whether the running comes back with him.
- Charvarius Ward's back:** He returned to full team reps in late August and expects to play Week 1, but calls it something he manages all season.
- Cam Taylor-Britt's suspension:** The third corner is out to start the year, leaving Gardner, Ward and Justin Walley to fix a 31st-ranked pass defense.
- Alec Pierce's availability:** His 1,003 yards on 47 catches was the deepest part of the passing game, and he is questionable out of camp.
- The first five games:** A 1-4 start turns the ninth win into a grind. At 3-2 the top half of the ladder reprices.
Related Colts Win Total and AFC South Markets
The division board is less generous. The 2026 AFC South Division odds run on both exchanges with $246.9K behind them: Houston 47c on Kalshi and 46c on Polymarket, Jacksonville 29c and 26c, Indianapolis 20c and 21c. Two books independently put the Colts at roughly one in five to win the South.
The neighbors set the bar. The Houston Texans 2026 win total odds imply 10.6 wins off a 12-5 season, and the Tennessee Titans 2026 win total odds imply 6.5 after a 3-14 year. The two-win gap between the Indianapolis and Houston boards is the argument: the Colts played ten games last season well above that level and seven far below it.
The 2026 AFC Championship odds carry $8.4M, with Buffalo in front at 16c and Houston the only AFC South team in the top eight at 10c. Nothing on the Indianapolis ladder argues the Colts belong there. The ninth win does not require them to.
