Arizona is priced as a four-win team and the number is too low. Kalshi's 17-rung ladder on the Cardinals crosses 50c between the 4+ rung at 58c and the 5+ rung at 40c, the equivalent of a 4.5-win line with the under favored. That is a fair reading of a team that went 3-14 last season. It is not a fair reading of how that team actually played.
Arizona scored 355 points in 2025 and allowed 488. Run those through the Pythagorean win formula and the season projects to 5.4 wins, not three. A team finishing 2.4 wins below what its scoring earned is the textbook mean-reversion candidate, and this board still charges the 3-14 price.
Cardinals Win Total 2026 Odds Today
Every rung below pays if Arizona wins at least that many regular season games. Prices are Kalshi as of August 27, 2026.
| Rung | Kalshi | Implied | 24h Volume |
| 1+ wins | 92c | 92% | $55 |
| 2+ wins | 90c | 90% | $3 |
| 3+ wins | 76c | 76% | $72 |
| 4+ wins | 58c | 58% | $356 |
| 5+ wins | 40c | 40% | $905 |
| 6+ wins | 30c | 30% | $621 |
| 7+ wins | 20c | 20% | $0 |
| 8+ wins | 14c | 14% | $364 |
| 9+ wins | 11c | 11% | $19 |
| 10+ wins | 8c | 8% | $65 |
Everything from 11+ up sits at 6c or lower with no trading. No Polymarket ladder exists on Arizona, so all $119.7K of lifetime volume here is one book. The only two-platform read sits one board over on the 2026 NFC West Division winner odds, where Arizona is 2c on Kalshi and 1c on Polymarket. Both books agree Arizona is not winning the division. Neither is being asked whether Arizona beats three wins.
Why the Cardinals Win Total Ladder Prices a Four-Win Season
Subtract each rung from the one below it and the market's implied distribution appears: 18% on exactly four wins, 18% on exactly three, 14% on exactly two, and 10% each on five and six. The modal season is three or four wins, and the entire curve sits under .500.
The top of the ladder is not a real price. The 1+ rung at 92c implies an 8% chance Arizona goes winless, while the 2+ rung at 90c implies a 2% chance of exactly one win. A winless 17-game season being four times likelier than a one-win season is arithmetically backwards, and those two rungs traded $55 and $3 over the last day. They are resting quotes, not opinions. The live board is 4+ through 8+, which absorbed roughly 76% of the day's $2.5K in ladder volume.
The Cardinals Win Total Case for 5+ Wins at 40c
Start with the quarterback split. Jacoby Brissett threw for 3,366 yards in 2025 while Kyler Murray managed 962 before his season ended. Murray is now in Minnesota. That 3-14 record came from a team that never got a clean year from the passer it was built around, and it still produced a 126-catch, 1,239-yard season from Trey McBride and 1,006 yards from Michael Wilson.
Then the two fixable holes. Arizona ran for 1,583 yards, 31st in the NFL at 93.1 per game, and scored nine rushing touchdowns, tied for 27th. It also surrendered 59 sacks, fifth-most in the league. Both are line and backfield problems, and both got direct offseason capital.
The defense is the harder sell. Arizona generated 30 sacks in 2025, tied for 28th, and Josh Sweat had 12 alone. Budda Baker's 120 tackles led a unit that gave up 488 points, fourth-most in football. Five wins does not require that defense to improve. It requires the offense to stop losing games by itself.
Cardinals Win Total 2026 Roster: Jeremiyah Love, Carson Beck and a First-Year Staff
Mike LaFleur is in his first season as a head coach. He came from the Los Angeles Rams staff, the offense that led the NFL with 518 points in 2025. That is the most underrated input on this board: the play-calling arriving in Arizona just produced the league's highest-scoring team.
The draft matched the diagnosis. Arizona used the third overall pick on Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love, took guard Chase Bisontis at 34, and waited until pick 65 for quarterback Carson Beck. Beck opened the preseason 15 of 19 for 188 yards and a touchdown against Carolina before a rib injury cost him the following game, and ESPN's depth chart still lists Brissett ahead of him and Gardner Minshew II.
Roster news since has cut both ways. Bisontis is on injured reserve with a torn MCL, pulling a Day 2 starter off a line that allowed 59 sacks, and Love is questionable with a sore ankle. Against that, center Hjalte Froholdt signed a two-year, $20M extension on August 25, and Sweat came off the PUP list the same week.
Cardinals Win Total 2026 Schedule: Seven Games Against 2025 Losing Teams
Arizona opens September 13, 2026 at the Los Angeles Chargers, and its 17 opponents went a combined 155-133-1 last season, a .536 clip. That is the argument for the under, and it is a real one. Six of the 17 games come against Seattle at 14-3, San Francisco at 12-5 and the Rams at 12-5. Treat that block as one or two wins and the rest of the schedule has to carry the number.
It can. Seven opponents finished under .500 in 2025: the Giants at 4-13, Cowboys at 7-9-1, Chiefs at 6-11, Commanders at 5-12, Jets at 3-14, Saints at 6-11 and Raiders at 3-14. The season also closes soft, with the Jets at home in Week 15, New Orleans in Week 16 and the Raiders at home in Week 17, three teams that won 12 games between them last year.
Five wins means going 5-2 in that seven-game set, or 4-3 with one upset elsewhere. Nine home games and a Week 14 bye help. At 40c, the market says that path fails 60% of the time.
Fading the Top of the Cardinals Win Total Ladder at 9+ and 10+
The reasoning that makes 5+ a buy makes 9+ at 11c and 10+ at 8c a sell. Mean reversion recovers the gap between a record and the scoring behind it. It does not manufacture a five-win jump in one offseason for a first-year head coach, a rookie-heavy line and an unsettled quarterback room. Nine wins would require splitting the NFC West and sweeping nearly everything else on a .536 schedule.
There is a structural reason to distrust the thin end too. The 11+ through 17+ rungs are parked at 6c, 4c and 2c with zero volume, the same untraded floor that produced the incoherent 92c and 90c prices at the other end. When a ladder's extremes are quotes rather than trades, a long shot's fair price is usually below the screen.
When the Cardinals Win Total 2026 Market Resolves
The ladder tops out at 17+, matching the 17-game regular season, so postseason results do not count. Arizona's regular season ends January 10, 2027 at home against San Francisco, and the board carries a January 18, 2027 resolution date. Each rung settles against final regular season standings, so the last three weeks of a lost season still move this board.
Cardinals Win Total Catalysts Between Now and Week 1
- Week 1 starter:** Brissett is the depth chart answer today. A Beck start moves every rung, and not necessarily up.
- Jeremiyah Love's ankle:** The third overall pick has been held out of preseason work. A healthy Love is the direct fix for a rushing attack that ranked 31st.
- Line health after Bisontis:** A second-round guard on injured reserve puts more weight on Froholdt and Paris Johnson Jr. in front of a group that allowed 59 sacks.
- Josh Sweat's workload:** He produced 12 of Arizona's 30 sacks last season and just came off PUP. The pass rush has no second option if his snap count is managed.
- Marvin Harrison Jr.'s usage:** He caught 41 passes for 608 yards and four touchdowns on 73 targets in 2025. A target share closer to McBride's changes the offense's ceiling.
Markets to Pair With the Cardinals Win Total 2026 Board
Arizona's number only makes sense next to the three teams setting it. The Seattle Seahawks 2026 win total odds, the Los Angeles Rams 2026 win total odds and the San Francisco 49ers 2026 win total sit on the other side of six Arizona games, and win totals across one division have to add up. For the wider view, the Super Bowl LXI Champion odds place the NFC West in the national picture, and Arizona Cardinals prediction markets carry every live contract on the team.
The position: buy 5+ at 40c, leave the double-digit rungs alone, and ignore anything quoted above the 4+ line until it trades.
