Green Bay opens 2026 without its best pass rusher and without its starting running back, and the Kalshi ladder still prices a 9.7-win year. That is a win too high. The Packers went 9-7-1 in 2025 with Micah Parsons on the field for 14 games, Rashan Gary rushing opposite him and Romeo Doubs leading the team in receiving. Parsons is on the physically unable to perform list, Gary plays for Dallas, Doubs plays for New England, and the number has barely moved.
The Packers Win Total Ladder Prices Green Bay at 9.7 Wins
| Rung | Kalshi | Implied | 24h volume |
| 7+ wins | 79c | 79% | $0 |
| 8+ wins | 74c | 74% | $1 |
| 9+ wins | 65c | 65% | $1 |
| 10+ wins | 54c | 54% | $450 |
| 11+ wins | 41c | 41% | $338 |
| 12+ wins | 30c | 30% | $116 |
| 15+ wins | 8c | 8% | $1.2K |
Every rung pays at *at least* that many wins, so 10+ at 54c settles yes if Green Bay finishes 10-7 or better. Add all 17 rungs and the ladder's expected value is 9.74 wins. The 50% crossing falls between 10+ and 11+, a 10.5-win line with the over at 41c.
This is a one-book market. Polymarket does not list NFL team win totals, so all $49.9K of lifetime volume here is Kalshi money, thin against the $117.8K on Chicago and the $191.2K on Dallas. The last 24 hours moved $2.1K and 58% of it bought 15+ at 8c. Conviction sits lower: 12,283 contracts of open interest on 10+ and 10,889 on 11+.
One rung is noise. The 7+ contract quotes 69c bid against 81c ask, and the gap between 6+ at 92c and 7+ at 79c implies a 13% chance of exactly six wins, the same probability the ladder gives to exactly ten. That is an untouched quote, not a view.
Micah Parsons Is on PUP and the Packers Win Total Did Not Move
Parsons tore the ACL in his left knee on December 14 at Denver and had surgery on December 29 that also repaired a meniscus tear. Green Bay applies a nine-month rule to ACL rehab, putting his first practice in late September at the earliest. Reserve/PUP costs him a minimum of four games, and he has named mid-October as his realistic target.
Parsons had 12.5 sacks in 14 games last season. Green Bay finished with 36 as a team, tied for 20th in the NFL. Gary added 7.5 before the Packers traded him to Dallas in March for a 2027 fourth-round pick. That is 20 of 36 sacks, 56% of the pass rush, and neither rushes a passer for Green Bay in September.
What replaced them is older, not better. Javon Hargrave signed two years and $23M on March 13, at 33, two days after Minnesota released him. Zaire Franklin came from Indianapolis on March 11 for Colby Wooden and turned 30 in July. He replaces Quay Walker, who led the team with 128 tackles and signed with Las Vegas for three years and $40.5M.
Josh Jacobs and the 13 Touchdowns Missing From the Packers Win Total
The league placed Jacobs on the commissioner exempt list on August 30, three days after Wisconsin prosecutors charged him with two misdemeanors. He cannot practice or play while he is on it, and a suspension remains available to the league afterward.
Jacobs ran 234 times for 929 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2025 and caught 36 passes for 282 more. The 4.0 yards per carry was ordinary. The 14 total touchdowns were not, and they are most of the reason Green Bay scored on 86.44% of its red zone trips. The response was a trade with Pittsburgh for Kaleb Johnson on August 30, hours before final cuts, and a one-year deal for Jonnu Smith. Depth moves, not a plan.
The Packers Win Total Faces Its Easy Games at Its Weakest Moment
The 2026 schedule runs backwards for this roster. Green Bay opens at Minnesota on September 13, then plays at the Jets, Atlanta, at Tampa Bay, Chicago and Dallas. Those six opponents went 46-55-1 in 2025, a .456 clip, and only Chicago finished above .500. That is the stretch Green Bay plays without Parsons and, as things stand, without Jacobs.
Then it inverts. The closing nine run at New England, Minnesota, at the Rams, at New Orleans, Buffalo, Miami, at Chicago on Christmas Day, Houston on January 4 and Detroit in Week 18. Those nine went 92-61 in 2025, a .601 clip, and five of them won at least 11 games. Across the full 17, Green Bay's opponents were 155-133-1, a .538 schedule.
Why 10+ Is the Wrong Side of the Packers Win Total at 54c
Ten wins requires roughly 4-2 in a shorthanded opening six and 6-3 across the hardest closing stretch on the calendar. Both halves have to go right, and the roster is built to win one of them.
Last season argues against it. Green Bay was 8-4-1 through Week 14 and then lost its final four. Parsons went down in the first of those and Jordan Love missed the last two. The wild card round ended 31-27 at Chicago, a game where Love threw for 323 yards and four touchdowns and the defense still surrendered 31 points. The ladder is asking a team that closed 0-4 to beat 9-7-1 while 56% of its 2025 pass rush watches September from the sideline.
The read here is eight or nine wins. Selling 10+ at 54c is the clean expression. Buying 8+ at 74c is the same view from the other side, a floor rather than a ceiling.
The Case That the Packers Win Total Is Too Low
Love threw for 3,381 yards with 23 touchdowns against 6 interceptions at a 101.2 rating in 15 games, and he is the most stable thing on this roster. Green Bay converted 48.78% on third down. The receiving room was never whole: Tucker Kraft played eight games and scored six touchdowns, Jayden Reed played seven, Christian Watson ten, Matthew Golden put up 361 yards as a rookie. Get all four for 17 games and the offense clears 23.0 points per game.
The absences are finite. Four games is the floor for Parsons and mid-October is the target, leaving 11 to 13 games with him, and those are the games that decide the number. If Green Bay gets to 4-2 with backups, 54c on 10+ is fair.
What the NFC North Board Says About the Packers Win Total
The 2026 NFC North Division odds is the only market in this division both platforms quote, and at $490K it dwarfs the win-total ladder. Green Bay is 28c on Kalshi and 24c on Polymarket, the widest gap of the four teams: Detroit is 35c and 36c, Chicago 23c and 24c, Minnesota 19c and 17c. Kalshi is the high book on Green Bay, and Kalshi is the only book pricing this ladder.
The division ladders add up to an odd season. The Lions season win total 2026 carries an expected value of 10.95 wins after a 9-8 year that missed the playoffs, the Bears season win total 2026 sits at 9.59 after Chicago won the division at 11-6, and the Vikings season win total 2026 sits at 8.90. The four ladders total 39.2 wins in a division that won 38 games last year, and Green Bay is 4c on Kalshi for the Super Bowl LXI Champion odds.
How the Packers Win Total Settles on January 18, 2027
Each contract asks one question: does Green Bay win at least N games in the 2026-27 regular season. The rungs expire January 18, 2027, after the January 10 home game against Detroit closes Week 18. Wins only. The 40-40 tie at Dallas last September counted for nothing on a contract worded this way, and a tie in 2026 counts for nothing either.
What Moves the Packers Win Total Before Week 1
- Josh Jacobs resolution:** the league can return him to the roster or turn the exempt list into a suspension, and those outcomes sit about a win apart in any honest projection.
- The Parsons activation window:** the earliest he comes off reserve/PUP is after Week 4, and his own target is mid-October, so Weeks 5 and 6 are the decision points.
- Tucker Kraft's knee:** listed questionable out of camp after an eight-game 2025 in which he still scored six touchdowns.
- The Week 1 trip to Minnesota:** September 13 at 4:25 PM ET against a 9-8 division rival, and a road loss puts 10+ under pressure immediately.
- The 7+ rung:** 69c bid against 81c ask on 439 contracts of open interest, the softest quote on the board. One real trade there reprices the bottom of the ladder.
