The UFC Bantamweight Champion 2026 market settled most of its uncertainty in one night. Petr Yan kept the 135-pound belt at UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi on October 24, 2026, beating Merab Dvalishvili by unanimous decision with all three judges scoring the five-round trilogy fight 48-47. No Yan title defense has been announced for the rest of 2026, so the board now asks a narrow question: does anything take the belt off Yan before noon ET on December 31? About $490K has traded on Polymarket and roughly 218K contracts on Kalshi, and the live board above carries the current price on all 12 listed fighters.
Yan won the title from Dvalishvili at UFC 323 on December 6, 2025, also by unanimous decision, and UFC 333 was his first defense. He has now won four straight by decision, a run that also includes Marcus McGhee in July 2025 and Deiveson Figueiredo in November 2024.
The engine price history shows how much of this market rode on the trilogy. Yan's contract traded between 56% and 64% through October as the fight approached, closed at 96% on October 24, touched 99% on October 27, and sits at 96% as of November 4, with Kalshi at 95% and Polymarket at 97%. Dvalishvili went the other way, from a range of 36% to 43% before the fight to effectively zero after it.
For a Yan Yes, nothing has to happen. He keeps the belt unless he loses it in a title fight, vacates it, or is stripped before the check time.
Sean O'Malley is the No. 2 contender in the UFC rankings updated November 3, and the only other fighter above 1% on either book. He has won twice in 2026, a unanimous decision over Song Yadong at UFC 324 on January 24 and a second-round TKO of Aiemann Zahabi at UFC Freedom 250 in Washington, D.C. on June 14.
O'Malley is also where the two venues disagree most. Kalshi prices him at 6% while Polymarket has him at 1%, a 5-point gap on a contract that only pays if a title fight is booked and won inside the next eight weeks. His engine history has risen from 3% to 4% in early October to between 5% and 8% since UFC 333.
Behind him, the November 3 rankings list Dvalishvili first, Song third, Umar Nurmagomedov fourth, Mario Bautista fifth, Cory Sandhagen sixth and Payton Talbott seventh. Song moved into the picture with a knockout of Nurmagomedov at UFC Shanghai in August. Every one of those contracts trades at 1% or less, and David Martinez, Zahabi and Bautista are listed only on Polymarket.
The remaining UFC calendar is the main reason the board sits in the high 90s. The promotion has four events left in 2026, according to public event listings: UFC 334 at Madison Square Garden on November 14 (Gane vs Hokit), a Fight Night in Qatar on November 21 (Prochazka vs Stirling), a Fight Night in Riyadh on December 5, and UFC 335 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on December 12 (Oliveira vs Lopes). None is headlined by a bantamweight title fight, and Yan fought eleven days ago. Every challenger's price is effectively the chance that a short-notice title fight appears on one of those cards and that the challenger wins it.
The market resolves to the official UFC bantamweight champion at 12:00 PM ET on December 31, 2026. Only the undisputed champion counts; an interim champion does not. On Polymarket, a vacant belt or no champion at the check time resolves to Other. Kalshi lists the same question under its KXUFCBANTAMWEIGHTTITLE series, and Polymarket uses official UFC information as its primary source.
The weight class below is covered by the UFC Flyweight Champion 2026 market, and the division above by the UFC Featherweight Champion 2026 board. Yan's run also feeds the UFC pound-for-pound year-end 2026 odds and the next UFC pound-for-pound No. 1 market. The UFC Welterweight Champion 2026 market has the same December 31 check, and the sports prediction markets hub lists every other fight and league board.
Resolves to the official UFC Bantamweight (135 pounds) champion as of 12:00 PM ET on December 31, 2026. Each fighter is a separate Yes/No contract: the contract for the recognized undisputed champion at that moment pays $1 per share and every other fighter resolves to zero. Interim champions do not count. If the belt is vacant at the check time, or there is otherwise no champion in the division, Polymarket resolves to Other and every named fighter resolves No. A fighter who loses, vacates, or is stripped of the title on or before the check time resolves No. Kalshi settles under its KXUFCBANTAMWEIGHTTITLE series, with contracts open to a latest expiration of January 7, 2027; Polymarket uses official UFC information from ufc.com as its primary resolution source.
As of November 4, 2026, Petr Yan trades at 95% on Kalshi and 97% on Polymarket. Sean O'Malley is at 6% on Kalshi and 1% on Polymarket, and every other fighter is at 1% or less.
