Polymarket does not list a Miami win total, so all $125K of lifetime volume on these 17 rungs is Kalshi money. The tightest quote is 4+ wins, 54c yes against 47c no, the only true coin flip on the board.
Why the Dolphins Win Total 2026 Sits Last in the NFL
Run that sum across all 32 team ladders and Miami is the floor of the league: Arizona next at 4.6, Cleveland at 5.8, the Jets at 6.1, Las Vegas at 6.3, against the Rams at 11.8 and Seattle at 11.0 up top.
Miami did not earn last place from last season's results. The Dolphins finished 7-10 and fourth in the AFC East with a -77 point differential, 347 points scored and 424 allowed: 25th in scoring at 20.4 points per game, 24th in scoring defense at 24.9 allowed. Bad, not historic. New England won the division at 14-3 and played in Super Bowl LX, Buffalo went 12-5, the Jets finished 3-14 at -203.

Most of it does. Miami fired Mike McDaniel on January 8, 2026, hired former Green Bay executive Jon-Eric Sullivan as general manager on January 9 and former Green Bay defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley as head coach on January 19. Then the roster came apart. Tyreek Hill was released on February 16 and is still a free agent. Tua Tagovailoa was released on March 12 and signed with Atlanta. That is a genuine reset and it deserves a genuine markdown. It does not obviously deserve last place in the league.

A different market prices the same team. The 2026 AFC East board carries $206K across both platforms: Buffalo 56c on Kalshi and Polymarket, New England 40c on both, the Jets 4c Kalshi and 3c Polymarket, Miami 3c on both.
Two exchanges arrive independently at the same read: Miami and the Jets are the same team. The win-total ladders say they are a win and a half apart. Different questions on different boards, with no two-sided trade between them, but one number was set by two books with $206K behind it and the other by one book with $125K. The two-book number has the audit trail.
The football version: New York got a starting safety for a seventh and answers at quarterback with a 35-year-old Geno Smith under second-year coach Aaron Glenn. That is a reason to have the Jets ahead of Miami. It is not a reason to have them a win and a half ahead.
The Dolphins Win Total 2026 Buy Is 5+ Wins at 39c
Miami sold the part of the roster that was already underperforming and kept the part that survives a quarterback downgrade.
De'Von Achane is the best player left and he was the engine last season: 238 carries for 1,350 yards at 5.7 a carry with 8 rushing touchdowns, plus 67 catches for 488 yards and 4 more scores across 16 games. That is 1,838 scrimmage yards and 12 touchdowns from a 24-year-old who now has a staff with every reason to feed him.
The front seven is largely intact. Zach Sieler, Kenneth Grant, Chop Robinson, Jordyn Brooks, David Ojabo and Josh Uche all return under a head coach who spent last season running a defense. Defense is the phase that holds up when an offense cannot throw, and the phase this front office was hired to fix.
Five wins is not a bet on competence. It is a bet on four soft spots and one upset, from a roster that won seven a year ago with the 25th-ranked scoring offense.
Miami's Schedule Is the Best Argument Against the Dolphins Win Total 2026 Buy
Price every Miami opponent off its own ladder and the 2026 slate averages 9.4 implied wins against a league average of 8.5. Ten of seventeen games come against teams priced at 10 wins or better: San Francisco, Kansas City, Cincinnati, Detroit, Denver, the Chargers, plus New England and Buffalo twice each.
Only four opponents are priced under 8.5, and the 5+ ticket needs most of them: Las Vegas in Week 1, the Jets home and away, Indianapolis in Week 10. Lose three of those and the ticket needs two wins from the thirteen hardest games any bottom-five roster faces. That is the best argument 39c has, and it is a good one.
